THE INSIGHTS YOU NEED TO MOVE YOUR PPD CRA CAREER EVEN FURTHER FORWARD

At PPD, we all have professional goals we’re striving to reach and exceed. This CRA Competency Self-Assessment Tool will help you assess your progress in terms of technical, information-related skills and understand the best way to move forward toward those objectives as efficiently and quickly as possible.

It’s designed to show you how you can grow and point you to the learning experiences you can access to keep pushing ahead, building knowledge and capabilities, and expanding your career potential. We trust that you’ll use it to leverage your competencies, truly take ownership of your career, and become the best possible PPD CRA.

It is not a formal Performance Management and Development (PMD) evaluation and should be completed independently by you, to help prepare for a development conversation with your manager.

How to get the most from this tool

This tool is designed for an open and honest self-reflection in a safe environment.

Take an objective look at how you demonstrate each of the technical competencies and be honest in your self-assessment.

It is recommended that you take the assessment and work in partnership with your manager to identify opportunities focused on development, incorporating the activities highlighted in your report to drive your progress in these areas.

Here's how it works

  1. Select the self-assessment tool for your current CRA level or aspirational role level
  2. Select remote or on-site
  3. For each competency, review the definition and examples and reflect on how the competency applies
  4. Use the scale provided to assess yourself on how effectively and consistently you think you are demonstrating each of these in your day to day work

If you are not operating on a 360° monitoring study model, it is recommended that you select the onsite CRA roles. However, you are welcomed to take the assessment for the remote role. Once you complete the assessment, you will get a summary of your results with a list of recommended resources. We are continuing to add new resources, so please check back regularly for newly added contents related to the 360° monitoring study model.
